The Executive Committee of the International Society of Dynamic Games decided to establish a prize to promote research in the field of dynamic game theory, excluding evolutionary games. In particular, the award will recognize outstanding contributions to the theory of dynamic games. The prize is named after Tamer Başar and Geert-Jan Olsder.
